About the jewelry

Is the engraving really done by hand?

Yes. Every letter is engraved by hand, one at a time. Not printed. Not lasered. Carved. This is what makes every piece unique — no two pieces are identical, even with the same name.

What metals do you use?

Our pieces are made in 18k gold-plated sterling silver, sterling silver, and rose gold-plated sterling silver. All finishes are waterproof and tarnish-resistant with proper care.

Will it tarnish?

With normal wear and basic care — rinsing after saltwater or chlorine exposure, avoiding direct perfume spray — your piece will maintain its finish for years. Please see our Jewelry Care page for full guidance.

Can I wear it in the shower?

Yes. Our pieces are built for everyday wear — shower, sleep, gym. That is the point.


Personalization

How do I add my engraving?

At checkout, you will see a text field to enter your engraving. Up to 12 characters — letters, numbers, spaces, and basic punctuation. Double-check your spelling before submitting, as we cannot make changes once production begins.

What if I made a spelling mistake?

Email us at hello@veramaren.com immediately after placing your order. If we have not yet begun production, we can make the correction. Once production has started, we are unable to make changes.

Can I order without engraving?

Yes. Simply leave the engraving field blank at checkout and your piece will be made without personalization.


Orders and shipping

How long does it take?

Every piece is made to order. Please allow 5–7 business days for production, then 3–5 business days for standard shipping. Express shipping is available at checkout.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship worldwide. International orders typically arrive within 7–14 business days after production. Duties and taxes may apply depending on your country.

How do I track my order?

You will receive a tracking number by email the moment your piece ships. If you have not received a tracking email within 8 business days of your order, contact us at hello@veramaren.com.


Returns and guarantee

What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-day return window from delivery for unworn items. Personalized pieces are non-refundable unless there is a craftsmanship defect. See our full Shipping and Returns page.

What is the lifetime guarantee?

Every Vera Maren piece is guaranteed against craftsmanship defects for life. If a clasp breaks, an engraving fades, or a setting fails — at any point, ever — we will repair or replace it. No receipt required. No time limit.
